ReelCount keeps a full record of every session, so once a meal service is over you can review how your catering numbers compared to expectations. There are two places to look back: the Previous Sessions panel on the Dashboard for quick totals, and the Schedule page for full per-person detail.
Previous Sessions (on the Dashboard)
Each location panel on your Dashboard has a Previous Sessions dropdown. Pick any completed session (they're grouped by date) to see:
- Scheduled – the headcount frozen when the session went live — the number your catering team ordered for.
- Expected – the final live forecast for the session (including crew added after it went live).
- Collected – the number of passes actually scanned (or quickly picked up!).
- Collected at This Location – shown when a session ran across more than one site.
- vs Schedule – the difference between Collected and Scheduled, shown as a plus or minus figure. A minus means fewer meals were collected than were ordered; a plus means you went over.
Digging into the Detail
If you need more than totals — like who collected, when, where, and whether it was collected on their behalf — open that day from the Schedule page:
- Click the day on the calendar to open its Day Overview.
- The stat chips at the top show the day's Scheduled / Expected / Collected totals.
- Every crew member is listed under their session with their collection details.
- Crew who have since been deleted from your database still appear in past days (greyed out with a line through their name), so your historical numbers stay accurate.

Useful to Know
- Past sessions show the same numbers that the Dashboard displayed while the session was live.
- Session records are kept per session, so a day with breakfast and lunch has two sets of numbers.
- ⚠️ Deleting a location removes its Dashboard panel — and with it the Previous Sessions view for that site. The underlying session data remains available in the Schedule's day view.
