At ReelCount, we know security on productions is vital. Regularly updating your password helps keep your project safe. And sometimes — it just happens — you forget your login details!
If You've Forgotten Your Password
If you've locked yourself out of your account, don't worry.
- Go to the ReelCount login page and click Forgot Password?.
- Enter the email address you use for ReelCount.
- We'll send you a password reset email — follow the link in it to create a new password and get back into your account.
If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder and make sure you entered the address your account was set up with.
If You Want to Update Your Password
If you still have access and simply want to change your password:
- Log in to your account.
- Click your avatar in the top right and choose Settings.
- Find the Change Password section.
- Enter your current password, then your new one (and confirm it), and click Change password.
Your new password needs to be at least 6 characters and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character.
⚠️ Note: You'll need to know your current password to update it this way. If you've forgotten it, use the reset flow above instead.
Keeping your password fresh is a small step that makes a big difference to your security.
