Each crew member in ReelCount should only have one unique pass. This keeps scheduling and reporting clear.
What Happens If You Add Them Twice
If the same person is added twice in the Crew page, they will be given two different passes.
This can cause confusion when scheduling, as it’s hard to track which pass is in use.
It’s not recommended as a way of managing access.
Best Practice
Stick to a single pass per crew member per project.
If someone loses or deletes their pass, use Resend Pass rather than creating a new record.
Multiple passes should only ever be issued if there’s a very specific production reason.
⚠️ Warning: If a crew member is deleted, all copies of their pass stop working immediately — even those saved to phones.
Key Points
One pass per crew member is standard practice.
Duplicates create scheduling and reporting issues.
Always use Resend Pass if someone needs their pass again.
That’s how ReelCount manages crew passes — designed to be simple and secure with one pass per person.
