Your project name appears across the admin portal and on every crew member's pass. If you need to update it — for example, to switch to a codename for security reasons — you can do it quickly from your account settings.
Updating the Project Name
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner of the admin portal.
- Select Settings from the dropdown.
- Update the Company Name field — this is your project/production name.
- Click Save changes.
ℹ️ Only the account Owner can change the company name. For everyone else the field is shown but locked — ask your Owner to make the change.
What Happens When You Change the Name
- As soon as you save, the new name appears everywhere in the portal.
- Crew passes refresh automatically with the updated project name.
- Crew don't need to download a new pass — passes already saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet update in place.
⚠️ Warning: Changing the project name updates it for everyone straight away. If you're switching names for confidentiality, let your crew know before you make the change.
Key Points
- The project name is visible on every crew pass (as the "Project Name" line).
- Only the Owner can change it, from Settings → Company Name.
- Changes take effect instantly across the system, including passes already in wallets.
- Ideal if you need to update a working title or apply a codename.
