Your project name appears across the admin portal and on every crew member's pass. If you need to update it, for example to switch to a codename for security reasons, you can do it quickly from Account.
Updating the Project Name
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner of the admin portal.
- Select Account from the dropdown.
- On the Overview tab, update the Production name field.
- Click Save.
ℹ️ Only the account Owner can change the production name. For everyone else the field is shown but locked. Ask your Owner to make the change.
What Happens When You Change the Name
- As soon as you save, the new name appears everywhere in the portal.
- Crew passes refresh automatically with the updated project name.
- Crew don't need to download a new pass. Passes already saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet update in place.
⚠️ Warning: Changing the project name updates it for everyone straight away. If you're switching names for confidentiality, let your crew know before you make the change.
